About This Role
As an AI Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling customer-facing AI platforms. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and sales teams to design powerful machine learning pipelines, deliver scalable inference services, and drive forward Adobe’s AI-first agenda across industries.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing scalable AI platforms and evangelizing them to customers and internal teams
- Ensuring the platform meets performance, reliability, and scalability standards
- Designing and implementing ML pipelines for model experimentation, management, retraining, and inferencing
- Leading A/B testing and implementing APIs for scalable model inference
- Specializing in LLM serving paradigms and GPU-based distributed training (e.g., DeepSpeed, vLLM)
- Fine-tuning large models to improve performance and resource efficiency
- Applying extensive knowledge of LLMs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama) to build production-ready use cases
- Practicing DevOps and LLMOps using Kubernetes, Docker, Langflow, LangGraph, and more
- Delivering robust, production-level ML/LLM solutions that meet specific customer use cases
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with ML platforms: MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure AI
- Deep understanding of GPU architecture, model/data parallel training, and LLM serving
- Strong foundation in ML/AI pipeline development, inferencing, and A/B testing
- Experience with orchestration frameworks: Flowise, LangFlow, LangGraph, LangChain
- DevOps and LLMOps proficiency: Kubernetes, Docker, FluentD, Grafana, Prometheus
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with databases: DynamoDB, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Spanner, BigQuery
- Familiarity with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Cloud certifications (bonus): AWS Professional Solution Architect, AWS ML Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
