About This Role
As a Computer Scientist 2 at Adobe, you’ll be an individual contributor responsible for designing and architecting next-generation services and features for our Digital Experience platform. You’ll work in full DevOps mode, taking ownership of all engineering phases from specifications to deployment, while collaborating with world-class teams to build products that transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing and architecting new services and features for enterprise-scale applications
- Working in full DevOps mode across all engineering phases: specs, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborating with architects, product management, and engineering teams to build innovative solutions
- Building technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate complex ideas
- Participating in production issue resolution and developing preventive solutions
- Staying current with emerging technologies and influencing product direction
- Orchestrating with teams to develop products or major product components

What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience
- Excellent computer science fundamentals with strong understanding of algorithms, design, and performance
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native applications and architecture
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST Services, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience writing reliable, maintainable, secure, and performant code
- Knowledge of AWS services and/or Azure, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk
- Passionate about work quality with persistent, uncompromising standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, Snowflake
- Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with enterprise-scale marketing automation or customer engagement platforms
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- Knowledge of big data technologies and real-time processing systems
