🚀 About the Role
Unisys is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to work on cutting-edge LLM-powered chatbot technologies. In this role, you will lead the research, development, and deployment of knowledge ingestion pipelines, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) methods, and ML-based analytics. You will also stay at the forefront of AI trends by reviewing research papers and experimenting with new methodologies to enhance the company’s internal solutions.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement chatbot knowledge ingestion and monitoring pipelines
- Contribute to defining the technological vision for internal LLM-powered products
- Conduct R&D in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and evaluation techniques
- Participate in bi-weekly ML paper reviews to adopt state-of-the-art approaches
- Work hands-on with large datasets, data wrangling, and analytics
- Translate experimental prototypes into production-ready ML solutions
✅ You’ll Succeed in This Role If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning and/or data engineering
- Proven deployment of LLM-based systems in production
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like Pandas
- Good grasp of standard machine learning algorithms
- Knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
- Passion for continuous learning and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
🎓 Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced R&D environments
