💼 About the Role
As an SDE-1, you will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical features in Amazon’s payments infrastructure, influencing everything from mobile and web transactions to secure payment flows.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and design teams to deliver impactful solutions. This role offers full-stack exposure — from backend SOA-based systems to frontend UI frameworks, and even touches on big data and machine learning.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable and secure payment applications
- Contribute to the end-to-end development of new features for Amazon.in’s e-commerce and payment platforms
- Own design, implementation, testing, and deployment of features on both mobile and web
- Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning
- Participate in defining the team’s technical roadmap and architectural decisions
- Work in an agile environment with continuous delivery and DevOps best practices
✅ Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship experience in professional software development
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Java and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), REST APIs, and web technologies
