Role Overview
We’re seeking a talented and motivated Engineer, Software Development Engineering (Apps) to join our Bengaluru team. This role is ideal for 2025 BE/BTech graduates eager to work on software tools that boost productivity for HDD firmware development teams. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop automation tools, and ensure robust, high-availability solutions in a global technology leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools for HDD firmware development.
- Collaborate with firmware developers, test engineers, and validation teams to solve problems.
- Build scalable, high-availability solutions to improve development throughput.
- Develop and manage build/test automation systems (FTMS).
- Support and troubleshoot user issues promptly.
- Operate critical infrastructure for stable, 24/7 operations.
- Participate in agile scrum ceremonies and deliver within sprint timelines.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BTech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, graduating in 2025.
- Minimum CGPA 7.5 or above preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, with exposure to C, C++, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Bash/Shell, Python as a plus.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, RESTful APIs, service-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Windows & Linux environments.
- Understanding of SQL, authentication models, role-based access control.
- Experience with Git, SVN, JIRA, and agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of storage, HDD, flash, and semiconductor industries.
- Experience developing integrations using APIs.
- Familiarity with tools like Vault and Keycloak for security.
