📊 Role Overview
In this role, you’ll be a key player in translating complex business and product challenges into scalable data science solutions. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to drive feature improvements, optimize user journeys, and operationalize key performance metrics through Power BI dashboards, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
You’ll work on large-scale data from various sources, apply advanced statistical techniques, and communicate results to drive decisions across product development and strategy.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize product and business insights
- Perform data extraction, analysis, and modeling using SQL, Kusto, Databricks, Spark, and similar technologies
- Define and track KPIs, user funnels, and customer journeys across the Office product ecosystem
- Provide deep analytical insights to improve product performance and customer engagement
- Develop and implement forecasting models to support growth analysis and strategic planning
- Lead telemetry data design and advise feature teams on instrumentation and tracking best practices
🧠 Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or applied analytics
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and tools like Databricks or Spark
- 2+ years of experience working directly with stakeholders or customers in a project delivery or consulting capacity
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI
Preferred:
- 7+ years of data science or analytics experience in software or product environments
- Deep understanding of user behavior analysis, ML models, and feature instrumentation
- Proven ability to present complex data insights to leadership and business teams
- Strong experience with large-scale data modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics
