Role Overview: Software Development Engineer 1 (SDE I)
As an SDE I at Rupeek, you’ll work closely with senior engineers to build scalable and impactful software across domains like Mobile, Payments, Core Platform, and Analytics. You’ll participate in the full development lifecycle, from designing and coding to testing and deployment, with a focus on building robust and user-friendly financial systems.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and implementation
- Contribute to product design, development plans, and delivery timelines
- Build reliable, scalable systems using Java, data structures, and algorithms
- Ensure quality through test-driven development (TDD) and clean coding practices
- Participate in hiring and mentoring initiatives as the team scales
Qualifications
- B.Tech graduates in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or EEE
- Strong programming background in Java, C/C++
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environments preferred
- Solid grasp of software engineering principles and TDD
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
