🚀 About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of Linode API and cloud platform services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and improve scalable applications and APIs that power global developer experiences.
This is a remote position open to candidates across India.
🛠️ Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Contribute to Linode’s cloud infrastructure and interface tools.
- Work with RDBMS (SQL/Postgres) and ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
- Collaborate on debugging, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Research and integrate relevant open-source tools and frameworks.
- Drive improvements in development workflows, security, and deployment.
- Communicate clearly across teams and propose technical solutions.
🎯 Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in backend/web development.
- Proficiency in Python3 and modern web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
- Experience with SQL databases and ORMs (SQLAlchemy).
- Good understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and testing practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
