Role Overview
As a Software Development Engineer at Cleartrip (Flipkart Group), you’ll take ownership of building scalable, maintainable, and reliable systems that solve real-world challenges in travel technology. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll deliver high-quality solutions with immediate business impact. Your work will span from architecture design to implementation, ensuring performance, sustainability, and innovation remain at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, unit-tested software components and systems.
- Take complete ownership of project deliverables, from concept to production.
- Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
- Apply analytical problem-solving skills to optimize performance and user experience.
- Adopt and integrate modern tools and technologies to enhance system scalability and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in data structures and algorithms, including space and time complexity analysis.
- Proficiency in Java with hands-on knowledge of design patterns.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot framework preferred.
- Proficient in working with databases – Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL.
- Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies.
