About This Role
As a Software Engineer – Frontend, you will be part of a 7-member scrum team working on large-scale merchant and platform integrations that power PayPal’s Partner Experience. You’ll build robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend systems using React and modern web technologies.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and testing critical frontend components using React, TypeScript, and NodeJS
- Collaborating with engineers across teams to deliver global business features
- Crafting responsive and accessible digital experiences
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to a high-performance engineering culture
- Applying frontend best practices and modern design principles in a complex product ecosystem
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on frontend development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React
- Solid problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and development workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GraphQL, NodeJS, or similar frontend/backend integration technologies
- Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Experience working in fast-paced, Agile product teams
