This is a full-time internship based in multiple locations across India. The internship will be on-site only, with minimal travel (up to 25%).
About This Role
As a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft, you’ll be part of a collaborative team solving complex problems and building innovative software. You’ll engage in every stage of product development, learning from world-class engineers and bringing your own ideas to life.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and testing next-generation software products
- Collaborating with product and program managers to align software design with user needs

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining after completing the internship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
- Interest in product development, user experience, and collaborative problem-solving
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and innovate in a fast-paced environment
