Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Java Developer (T23 Software Engineer) to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications and services. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about learning, growing, and making a tangible impact. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern tools, AI-powered coding solutions, and agile development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug clean and efficient Java code for new features and product enhancements.
- Assist in identifying and resolving software defects.
- Participate in unit and integration testing to maintain high code quality.
- Actively learn modern development practices, AI-assisted coding tools, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and product owners.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Engage in code reviews to learn and contribute effectively.
- Provide support for existing applications when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of Java development experience or strong academic project background.
- Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
- Basic SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Problem-solving aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (Docker).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
